why i suck as a blogger :)

ok, so lilly hasn't died. and i don't say that with jest. some have wondered because i just flatout stopped updating this blog. that would be as a result of the fact that i STINK at blogging. i am going to make an HONEST effort to keep up with this more. here is a brief summary of where we are with things:

-we moved in may to a new house on 5 acres in the country. it is everything we have ever wanted and the kids LOVE it. TONS of space to run and play (pics to follow tonight hopefully).

- lilly has had an AMAZING run of health (knock on wood) as of late. when she had her tonsils and adenoids removed, the ENT said they were so swollen and full of mucus that they have probably been infected (minimally at least) for a long time. since that surgery, she has been on an antibiotic only ONCE in the last year. this in contrast to being on an antibiotic once every 3 or 4 weeks for the first 5 years of her life.

-her brother continues to grow like a weed and we thank the lord OFTEN for his health and being CF free.

things to think/ pray for: we still have to officially purchase our home (we are leasing right now) and we hope all the numbers come together. the market continues to suck right now and so there is always a risk that things could fall apart. we are in the house we want to live in for the rest of our lives, lord willing. #2 for obvious protection and health for lilly. the CF foundation has made some AMAZING improvements in the last years. we are TRULY excited in what has transpired in the last year of research. we believe that our daughter lives in a generation that will see this disease conquered. thank you all for your love. this is my new chance at trying to keep up on this blogging thing :)
